  • Meet your KI Concerts tour manager
  • Orientation tour of Oslo, the capital of Norway
  • Check into hotel
  • Welcome dinner
  • Overnight Oslo

SATURDAY, MAY 10: OSLO

  • Breakfast daily
  • Enjoy a guided tour of Oslo seeing the city's iconic sites including the Karl Johans gate, Norway's Royal Palace, the harbor area, and the Holmenkollen Ski Jump
  • Experience the Nobel Peace Centre, which highlights issues related to war, peace, and conflict resolution
  • Visit the Vigeland Sculpture Park, the largest sculpture park by a single artist in the world
  • Free time to explore
  • Dinner on own
  • Overnight Oslo

SUNDAY, MAY 11: MELLERUD

  • Transfer to Mellerud
  • Check into hotel

MONDAY, MAY 12: MELLERUD

  • Visit the Mellerud Museum, which details the history of the area. Located in a courthouse built in 1909, it is a fantastic resource for anyone researching their local heritage

TUESDAY, MAY 13: JÖNKÖPING

  • Transfer to Jönköping, which was founded next to the gorgeous Lake Vättern
  • Visit the Jönköping County Museum and learn of the area's fascinating industrial past
  • Check into hotel
  • Concert (arranged in collaboration with Unexpected Company contacts)
  • Dinner
  • Overnight Jönköping

WEDNESDAY, MAY 14: VÄXJÖ

  • Transfer to Växjö
  • Visit the Växjö Smaland Museum. Founded in 1867 the museum features objects from the 19th and 20th centuries
  • See the Växjö Cathedral, known for its Gothic architecture and stunning stained-glass windows
  • Check into hotel
  • Free time to explore
  • Dinner on own
  • Overnight Växjö area

THURSDAY, MAY 15: ALGUTSBODA

  • Enjoy sightseeing in the surrounding area including visiting Kosta Boda
  • Continue to Algutsboda
  • Visit the Algutsboda Heritage Museum, which features historic farm buildings and a collection of old horse-drawn carriages, coaches, sleighs and bicycles from times gone by. Possibly meet with a member of the local history society (tbd)

  • Dinner on own
  • Overnight Växjö area

FRIDAY, MAY 16: KALMAR CASTLE | STOCKHOLM

  • Visit the legendary Kalmer Castle steeped in 800 years of history. For many years it was one of Sweden's most important fortifications, known as "the key to the kingdom" due to its strategic location
  • Lunch at the castle
  • Transfer to Stockholm (6-7 hours of travel including rest stops)
  • Check into hotel
  • Dinner on own
  • Overnight Stockholm

SATURDAY, MAY 17: STOCKHOLM

  • Enjoy a guided tour of Stockholm seeing the city's canals, castles and palaces. This is perhaps the most beautiful of the Scandinavian capitals, because the crystalline waters, which flow through its intersecting canals, gives a luminous appearance
  • Time to explore Stockholm
  • Dinner on own
  • Overnight Stockholm

SUNDAY, MAY 18: UPPSALA

  • Transfer to Uppsala (departure time dependent on time of return post concert)
  • Explore Uppsala, one of Sweden’s oldest cities
  • Concert preparation
  • Concert (at the Uppsala Cathedral if possible)
  • Dinner on own
  • Return to Stockholm
  • Overnight Stockholm

MONDAY. MAY 19: STOCKHOLM

  • Visit the Stockholm Royal Palace, the official residence and major royal palace of the Swedish monarch
  • Visit the Vasa Ship Museum. When the Vasa set sail in 1628, she was probably the world´s most powerful warship. With 64 cannons and 300 men, she was sure to intimidate any enemy, but she sank on her maiden voyage. This grand warship is almost wholly preserved, and is the only one of its type in the world
  • Free time to explore Stockholm on your own

The prices above are accurate at the time of quoting (January 11, 2024). Prices will be locked in for travelers’ peace of mind two weeks prior to the first payment date to account for potential fluctuations in fuel surcharges and currency exchange rates. While KI strives to minimize the impact of such fluctuations on participant costs, we know travelers will highly value knowing the price is guaranteed prior to embarking on the payment plan. Two weeks prior to the first payment date, KI will reach out to reconfirm the tour price and the start of registration.

  • All scheduled sightseeing and entrance fees
  • Concert organization and promotion for one concert; additional concerts are own arrangements

  • Any increases in air taxes or surcharges
  • Allocation of specific seat assignments on flights
  • Any additional luggage charges imposed by airlines
  • Instrument hire and transportation of oversize instruments
