  • Arrival in Edinburgh
  • Meet your KI Concerts tour manager
  • Enjoy an orientation tour of the magnificent city of Edinburgh including the regal Royal Mile, the charming Old Town, and historic St Giles’ Cathedral dating back 900 years
  • Check into hotel

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 28: EDINBURGH

  • Breakfast daily
  • Tour Edinburgh Castle, which has been the home to kings and queens for centuries. The castle, set in the heart of Scotland's capital city, dominates the town from Castle Rock where it is believed humans have gathered since the Iron Age (2nd-century AD). View the Scottish Crown Jewels, the Royal Apartments and the National War Memorial of Scotland

THURSDAY, JUNE 29: SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS

  • Transfer to Inverness, the capital of the glorious Scottish Highlands
  • Sightseeing en route including passing through the resort town of Aviemore and the U.K.'s largest national park, Cairngorms National Park, with its stunning mountain scenery
  • Check into hotel

FRIDAY, JUNE 30: SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS

  • Visit Cawdor Castle, a fairy-tale castle featuring a dramatic medieval tower, dungeon, turrets, and enchanting interior of fine art
  • Cruise Loch Ness searching for the mythical monster, which countless others have tried photographing/discovering since the 1930’s, and explore some of the most dramatic scenery of the Scottish Highlands while sailing the Loch
  • Free time to explore Inverness

SATURDAY, JULY 1: GLASGOW

  • Travel to Glasgow enjoying sightseeing en route
  • Enjoy a guided tour of Glasgow, considered a national cultural hub and home to institutions such as the Scottish Opera, the Scottish Ballet and the National Theatre of Scotland. Glasgow is a city of contrasts, modern structures sit alongside Victorian architecture, and the affluent West End is where we find the main galleries and museums. We stop at Glasgow Cathedral which is a rare example of an almost complete 13th century church

SUNDAY, JULY 2: GLASGOW

  • Sing a service and give a recital for parishioners
  • Tour Stirling Castle, a favorite residence of the Stewart kings and queens in ancient times

MONDAY, JULY 3: BELFAST

  • Travel to Belfast
  • Orientation tour of Belfast seeing St. Anne’s Cathedral and the Belfast City Hall as well as much of the fine Victorian and Edwardian architecture

TUESDAY, JULY 4: BELFAST

  • Visit the Titanic Experience and relive the entire story from her birth, maiden journey and discovery on the seabed

WEDNESDAY, JULY 5: DUBLIN

  • Transfer to Dublin
  • Enjoy a guided tour of Dublin seeing its iconic sights including Christ Church Cathedral, City Hall, and O'Connell Street
  • Visit St. Patrick’s Cathedral which stands on the oldest Christian site in Dublin where it is said that the Saint baptized converts to the Christian faith
  • Enjoy a Guinness or whiskey tasting and tour

THURSDAY, JULY 6: DUBLIN

  • Visit EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, an immersive, interactive museum located in Dublin’s Docklands, and learn about the history of the Irish diaspora and emigration to other countries
  • Lunchtime recital possibly in St. Patrick's or Christ Church Cathedral (tbd)
  • Free time to explore Dublin
  • Dinner with live Irish music

FRIDAY, JULY 7: DEPART

  • Continue with the Southwest Ireland extension tour or transfer to the airport to begin your journey home

Kilkenny/Waterford Extension Tour

FRIDAY, JULY 7: KILKENNY

  • Travel to Kilkenny visiting the Irish National Stud Farm & Japanese Gardens, one of Ireland’s treasures, en route. The farm is the home of equine royalty, immaculately-bred stallions which can be seen and admired alongside protective mares. The Japanese Gardens, symbolizing the 'Life of Man', are of international renown and are acclaimed as the finest Japanese Gardens in Europe
  • Continue to the medieval town of Kilkenny, home to one of the most recognizable landmarks in Ireland - the 12th-century Kilkenny Castle
  • Visit Kilkenny Castle, built in 1195 to control a fording-point of the River Nore. In the 13th-century, it became an important element of the defenses of the town
  • Check into hotel
  • Dinner on own
  • Overnight Kilkenny

SATURDAY, JULY 8: WATERFORD AND KILKENNY

  • Visit the seaport town of Ireland's oldest city, Waterford, which was founded by Vikings in 914 A.D.
  • Enjoy a guided tour of the House of Waterford Crystal, where a host of craftsmen, glass blowers, cutter, and engravers have been crafting the elegant crystal creations Waterford is known for since 1783
  • Return to Kilkenny
  • Enjoy time to explore Kilkenny on your own

The prices above are accurate at the time of quoting (August 24, 2022). Prices will be locked in for travelers’ peace of mind two weeks prior to the first payment date to account for potential fluctuations in fuel surcharges and currency exchange rates. While KI strives to minimize the impact of such fluctuations on participant costs, we know travelers will highly value knowing the price is guaranteed prior to embarking on the payment plan. Two weeks prior to the first payment date, KI will reach out to reconfirm the tour price and the start of registration.

  • They are based on an exchange rate of $1USD = 0.818GBP and a minimum of 50 paying travelers for the core program and a minimum of 15 paying travelers for the extension program
