FRIDAY, JUNE 28: ALOHA AND WELCOME TO HAWAII

  • Depart home airport
  • Arrive in Honolulu and experience a traditional flower lei greeting
  • Orientation tour of the city (time permitting)
  • Check in to hotel
  • Dinner daily
  • Overnight Honolulu

SATURDAY, JUNE 29: DIAMOND HEAD AND HONOLULU

  • Breakfast daily
  • Visit Diamond Head National Park, be up with the sun and hike to the top of the iconic ancient crater, Hawaii’s most recognizable landmark. The 1.5-mile round trip to the top of the volcanic crater offers a breathtaking 365-degree view of Oahu
  • Festival rehearsal with Rollo Dilworth
  • Festival welcome dinner
  • Overnight Honolulu

SUNDAY, JUNE 30: HONOLULU

  • Festival rehearsal with Rollo Dilworth
  • Optional individual performance or workshop on Polynesian culture, music and dance (tbd)
  • Beach BBQ dinner
  • Overnight Honolulu

MONDAY, JULY 1: HONOLULU

  • Dress rehearsal with Rollo Dilworth
  • Time to explore Honolulu
  • Gala Festival Concert conducted by Rollo Dilworth
  • Overnight Honolulu

TUESDAY, JULY 2: OAHU

  • Experience the Polynesian Cultural Center theme park, where you can explore the seven villages that represent the islands of Hawaii
  • Gather together for an all-you-can-eat Polynesian feast at the Ali'i Luau
  • Move from dinner into the 3,000-seat open-air theater for the best show in the islands, “Hā: Breath of Life”
  • Overnight Honolulu

WEDNESDAY, JULY 3: DEPART

  • Enjoy the beach or time for shopping then transfer to the airport and begin your journey home

FRIDAY, JUNE 28: PEARL HARBOR

  • Depart for Pearl Harbor
  • Visit the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor, the resting place of 1,102 of the 1,177 sailors and marines killed on the USS Arizona during the Japanese surprise attack on December 7, 1941
  • Enjoy an educational presentation by a WWII historian
  • Possible recital to honor those fallen (tbd)
  • Experience the emotion of the flag-folding ceremony
  • Take a guided city tour featuring the National Cemetery of the Pacific, the Governor's Mansion, the State Capitol Building, Iolani Palace and the King Kamehameha Statue
  • Optional individual performance (tbd)
  • Finish the day by celebrating the cultural melting pot that is Hawaii with dinner at a Japanese steakhouse
  • Overnight Honolulu
