Share the excitement of composing a new choral piece in a festival setting! Let us ignite the inner composer within every one of your singers.

Your choristers will create, rehearse and perform a world premiere together in a festival finale concert. The festival concert will feature other combined pieces for the full festival choir as well as individual performances from the participating ensembles. Having led this process with youth, childrens and community choirs in a myriad of settings, we always discover aspiring composers in every ensemble and marvel at the magic they experience.

The creation of a new piece of music is always a thrilling endeavor and exciting for all - the composers, the ensemble, the conductor, and the audience. I invite you to join me in this experience and spark the creation of a new work that can be performed that very same weekend. Every singer will contribute to the new work that is yours to keep - we will create a text together, live with the words and their meaning to release the music within while developing melodies and harmonies to accompany them.

We have chosen Canada for the site of this festival because of its proximity as well as the exceptional touring opportunities including Niagara Falls and the post festival tour option to Montreal - North America’s French capital.

I look forward to seeing you there.
