  • Meet your KI Concerts tour manager
  • Introductory tour of Prague, one of the world’s most beautiful cities
  • Check into hotel

TUESDAY, JUNE 18: PRAGUE

  • Breakfast daily
  • Guided tour of Prague including the Old Town Square. Witness the Astronomical Clock’s hourly show – in its day considered one of the wonders of the world. Cross the famed Vltava River on the Charles Bridge, one of Europe’s most romantic river crossings seeing the ‘Golden City of a Hundred Spires’ on either side
  • Concert
  • Overnight Prague 

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19: TEREZIN / ESTATE THEATRE

  • Transfer to Terezin to visit the concentration camp to learn the history behind one of the largest camps in the Czech Republic and see the Terezin Memorial
  • Return to Prague
  • Backstage tour of the Estate Theatre, one of the oldest and most beautiful historical theatre buildings in Europe, operating continuously since 1783
  • Overnight Prague 

THURSDAY, JUNE 20: PRAGUE

  • Enjoy a walking tour of Prague including a visit to St. Vitus Cathedral and the Prague Castle, both of which have commanding views over Prague

FRIDAY, JUNE 21: VIENNA

  • Transfer to Vienna
  • Sightseeing en route
  • Arrive in Vienna, a city of imperial grandeur
  • Choral Clinic/Workshop

SATURDAY, JUNE 22: VIENNA

  • Enjoy a tour of Vienna passing all the iconic sights of Vienna including traveling the Ring Avenue, passing by the Hofburg Palace, the Opera House, Mozart’s “Figaro House”, City Hall and St Stephen’s Cathedral (Stephansdom)
  • Tour the Central Cemetery (housing honorary tombs of famous composers like Beethoven, Gluck, Schubert, Johann Strauss - father and son and Brahms amongst others)
  • Concert
  • Overnight Vienna

SUNDAY, JUNE 23: MELK / VIENNA

  • Travel to Melk for a guided visit of the exquisite Benedictine Abbey with the Los Gatos High School Choir
  • Possible opportunity for an informal performance in the Abbey (tbd)
  • Sail the Danube River, which runs through more countries than any other river in the world
  • Return to Vienna
  • Overnight Vienna

MONDAY, JUNE 24: VIENNA

  • Tour Schönbrunn Palace, the fabulous baroque summer residence of the Hapsburg Emperors
  • Combined rehearsal with the Los Gatos HS band and orchestra
  • Combined concert with the Los Gatos High School band and orchestra
  • Farewell dinner
  • Overnight Vienna

TUESDAY, JUNE 25: DEPART

  • Transfer to the airport and begin your journey home

The indicative prices above are accurate at the time of quoting (April 27, 2023). Prices will be locked in for travelers’ peace of mind two weeks prior to the first payment date to account for potential fluctuations in fuel surcharges and currency exchange rates. While KI strives to minimize the impact of such fluctuations on participant costs, we know travelers will highly value knowing the price is guaranteed prior to embarking on the payment plan. Two weeks prior to the first payment date, KI will reach out to reconfirm the tour price and the start of registration.
