  • Sing Mass at St. Peter's Basilica (tbd)

  • Enjoy a guided tour of Rome walking through the Roman Forum, home to the world’s first senate, seeing the Capitoline Hill, Citadel of ancient Rome, and the Tarpeian Rock before viewing the magnificent Colosseum itself

DAY 3: FLORENCE

  • Breakfast daily
  • Enjoy a guided walking tour of Florence, the epicenter of the Renaissance. Visit the Piazza del Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, and Piazza della Signoria
  • Time to explore this extraordinary city. Those who wish to enter Accademia to see Michelangelo’s David can take the time to line up for this extraordinary experience (entrance cost not included), others may wish to ascend the 463 stairs to the top of the Cathedral’s cupola (entrance not included) or simply stroll along the River Arno
  • Overnight Montecatini

DAY 4: TUSCANY

  • Tour ‘under the Tuscan sun’ visiting Pisa to see the Leaning Tower in all its glory or visit Lucca, one of Italy’s last fully walled cities dating back to Gothic times

  • Explore the charming spa town of Montecatini
  • Continue onto Rome with a stop in one of Italy's hilltop towns such as Siena

  • Enjoy a guided tour of the imposing Doge’s Palace decorated by 16th century artists such as Titian and Tintoretto, walk across the Bridge of Sighs and see Piombi Prison
