  • Meet your KI Concerts Tour Manager
  • Orientation tour of Athens with its famous Acropolis, Parthenon and the ancient Agora. This beautiful historic city with its architecture of the ages glowing under the Aegean blue sky, is the capital of Greece and was the epicenter of Greek culture. This culture, one of the oldest in the world, gave birth to democracy, science and the fine arts

DAY 3: ATHENS

  • Breakfast daily
  • Enjoy a tour of Athens, which reveals this marvelous city, the “Cradle of Civilization”. You will tour the Acropolis, which played host to festivals, cults and historically significant events during the peak of Athens’ power. In today’s world, it serves as an architectural masterpiece and source of national pride. We will also visit the Areopagus where we read St. Paul’s message concerning the “Unknown God”

DAY 4: HYDRA, POROS, AEGINA, AND ATHENS

  • Enjoy a day cruise to the fabulous Greek islands of Hydra, Poros and Aegina
  • The first stop is at the enchanting island of Poros, known for its beautiful beaches, lush vegetation, and picturesque villages
  • Enjoy a delightful Greek lunch on the way from Poros to the island of Hydra
  • Admire the unique architecture and dramatic landscapes on the island of Hydra including its narrow stone paved streets perfect for exploration by foot
  • The final stop is the island of Aegina with time to explore and enjoy a coffee in one of the charming coffee shops on the waterfront
  • Return to Athens while enjoying authentic Greek singing and dancing on board the cruise

DAY 5: ATHENS

  • Visit the Acropolis Museum, a stunning archaeological museum focused on the findings of the archaeological site of the Acropolis of Athens. The museum was built to house every artifact found on the rock and on the surrounding slopes, from the Greek Bronze Age to Roman and Byzantine Greece
  • Explore the Plaka area under the slopes of the Acropolis

DAY 6: ATHENS

  • Travel to the magnificent Corinth Canal connecting the Aegean and Ionian Seas
  • Continue to Epidaurus, famous for its 4th-century BC theatre which remains almost intact with its breathtaking views, aesthetics and acoustics
  • Enjoy free time to explore Athens

DAY 7: DELPHI

  • Visit Delphi, an ancient religious sanctuary dedicated to the Greek god Apollo. Developed in the 8th century B.C., the sanctuary was home to the high priestess Pythia, who was famed throughout the ancient world as the Oracle of Delphi
  • Return to Athens
  • Farewell dinner

DAY 5: MYKONOS

  • Travel to the port to board your cruise ship
  • Lunch served daily on the ship
  • The first stop is Mykonos, a vibrant island with its colorful harbor, all-white houses and windmills silhouetted against the blue Grecian sky. Mykonos is the most popular of the Greek Islands with its rich history, cosmopolitan flavor, and beautiful white sandy beaches. The shuttle bus from the ship into Mykonos is included and we will have time to explore this charming island
  • Overnight on board

DAY 6: EPHESUS AND PATMOS

  • Berth at Kusadasi, where a short bus ride will take us to the breathtaking ruins of Ephesus said to be founded by Amazons, great female warriors (shore excursion included). Once known as one of the richest cities in Asia Minor, it was a popular Roman resort, center of trade, commerce, culture, and religion. St. Paul spent three years walking its marbled streets. See the giant theatre where the riot of the silversmiths occurred, the great Temple of Diana – one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, and more
  • Arrive at Patmos Island, home to the Monastery of St John the Theologian and the Cave of the Apocalypse – both World Heritage Sites. There is an opportunity to rehearse or take an optional tour of Patmos (not included)

DAY 7: CRETE AND SANTORINI

  • Awaken to a stunning morning in Crete, an island with an exquisite 1,000-kilometer-long glittering coastline dotted with numerous coves, bays, and peninsulas, affording a multitude of soft, sandy beaches along the beautifully blue Mediterranean Sea. Explore the town learning the extraordinary and unique history of this important island
  • Sail to Santorini, one of the most magical islands of Greece. Ascend the high cliffs for breathtaking views (cost of the cable car to ascend and descend the cliff is included). As the sun sets, the reflection on the buildings and the glow of the orange and red in the cliffs can be truly magnificent
  • Overnight on board

  • Disembark the ship and return to Athens
  • Explore the Plaka area under the slopes of the Acropolis

  • Glide into the beautiful harbor of Rhodes, which in ancient times was straddled by the famed Colossus. Reflecting Roman, Saracen, Turkish, Medieval, and Italian influences, this ancient city was captured by the Crusader Knights of the Order of St. John in 1307 and has barely changed since then. We travel back in time as we enjoy a tour of Rhodes which includes a visit to the Grand Master’s Palace
