Dear Friends,
I would be honored if you’d consider joining KI Concerts and me in London, late June/early July, 2022, for our #EraseHate London Choral Festival. Never before in our lifetimes has the need to erase hate and intentionally build community been greater. By combining our power in a festival choir and singing repertoire from the heart we will be agents of the healing needed on both sides of the Atlantic.
With highlights from the extraordinary new choral work “Considering Matthew Shephard” as well as other pieces that speak to justice for all and the connectivity of humanity, this festival will bring together ensembles from around the US and Europe as we reengage with the world in-person and bring about much needed healing.
It would be wonderful if we could collaborate to #EraseHate, celebrate Matthew Shepard through Craig Hella Johnson’s extraordinary music, and reconnect singers and audiences through this unique music exploration.
London’s rich cultural and historical heritage, both ancient and modern, offers a rich backdrop for this renewal and the creation of a lifetime of musical memories.
